Thx ima try n find a used one before I buy new. Also looking for the siccce psk1000 or any other pump that will work great for the vertex in-180 skimmer gen 3

i wana buy one too. reefcentral says a Sedra 5000 wud wrk, but JL doesnt carry the pinwheel. ill buy anything thatll wrk.

Hmm I have a sedra 5000 on my euro reef rs 135. Mybe I should test on the vertex but sedra is more than 300gph weaker than the bb n sicce. Wonder if that makes a difference

That would be a bit underpowered. I think the comparable Sedra pump would be the 9000

About 1000gph should be more than enough. Can't believe how cheap it is as well even with a controller. Fish-street is awesome!

ya $65 is great, but it seems one wud then need to then buy a venturi($25)?
