Hey y"all. I've got a baby snowflake living in my 14g bc for awhile till I move him into the 93 cube. Just switched out the lighting to a halo par 38. Hood is gone. Anyway question is, I wanna put eggcrate with mesh over the top, but cut a big hole in the middle for better par. I'm thinking when eels escape, they climb up the glass like my python did. Think it's escape proof-ish? Cheers

has to be solid all the way across and held down. They will push egg crate off as well.

Powerful swimmers when they want to and can just get their head into the hole and then thrust out of the opening.

if they do get out they can survive out of water for 12 hours.if you do find them on the floor ,rinse them off with ro water and drop them back into the display
