The American pet superstore chain is being sold to Canadian investors for 8.7 billion should be interesting to see what comes of it and why American investors in the company were so keen to sell it.

The purchasers are a consortium of PE investors which includes Quebec based La Caisse. So it won't be "Canadian owned" per se...only partly.

It'll be interesting to see what direction the chain takes in the future.
