So my system has been fish free for... 7 months.

I added a tiger pistol, two spot goby, two peppermint shrimp and three red foot snails and few turbos.

Haven't seen the pistol since I got it lol
Two peppermints own the tank.
And the snails are lazy as hell.

The two spot was sifting a bit the first day and stopped.
He just lays there... When i bought him he was sifting like no tomorrow.

He's been in there three days, and when I wake up he's in a different spot and I can notice little sifting patches... ( my sand is getting gross)

I want to do another water change and clean up the sand a bit but I don't want to stress the little guy out.

He got a 100 gallon to himself. He's the only fish. I didn't buy him to pair up with the pistol I bought him so clean my sand

Going to run some carbon...
Did a few rock blowing water changes and wonder if my corals declared war
My water looks slightly clouded, normally it's clear

You can try some Nassarius snails, I threw a handful into my sand and they did an amazing job at cleaning it up. Sometimes with Pistol shrimps, you rarely see them. I hardly ever see mine (couple time a year), but I know that he's there as I here the notorious cracking that they produce.

we tried a two spot goby, apparently they are hard to keep and you need to try to get them to eat. And suggest to have them in pairs since they are skidderish.

best of luck!
