Just wondering what size tank everyone is using for quarantine of fish, I was thinking of using something in the 15gal - 20gal size.

Mine is a 20 standard. I'd say 20gal is a good size unless you need more room for larger fish.

In the process right now of setting up a 120gal, the plan was to find a used 15-20gal as quarantine, just wanted to confim I am on the right track. No plans of having any big fish, one spot foxface and yellow tang might be the biggest in the plan and even they will be small when purchased.

Right now I am putting the plumbing together but want to keep my eyes open for a cheap tank and stand, incase something comes up.

Thanks

I have a few (yes a few) 29 g as my QT tanks. I am doing tank transfer as part of my quarantine routine that's why I need more than one QT tank. I found that 29 g long is the best fit because it can hold more water so the parameters are relatively stable during the QT process. I can comfortably carry the tanks around to clean them when they are empty.
Also keep an eye on your local fresh water community buy-and-sale forum also. They have tanks and equipments for sale cheap. I got most of my QT tanks and equipments from fresh water people.

I have a 55glns with a metal stand drilled but could be closed off...its yours (usually I ask for frags) but I will let it go for $20 if no frags available:biggrin:
