Hey guys just got back after two weeks away and everything in the tank looks good except for my green slimer. Its got about a 1 inch around bleached area. The base below it is fine and retained its color and everything above also is fine. All my params are stable the only thing maybe... is the toadstool beside it touching that area? Any ideas? Should i chop above the bleached area and re-attatch the healthy top?

params:

Calcium 430
Alk 8.2
Salinity 1.026
temp 79
Ph 8.0-8.2
magnesium 1380
Phostphates .012 (hanna ulr)
nitrates .02

No torch anywhere near it maybe you mean the pink toadstool on the right of it?

Yeh I'm thinking the same thing. Maybe need to get rid of the toadstool.

Ya, looks stung to me too. It'll grow back, but watch it for recession and save the top if it gets worse

I have not known toadstools to be that stingy but I suppose it's possible ?

I would suspect the very healthy and aggressive forest fire digi right next to it. The one that's pointing a digit right at the spot that's burned out on your slimer. It may not be touching but could be close enough to bother the slimer.

Hmm never suspected that. It's still a good quarter to half an inch away but I'll frag that piece to be on the safe side. Thanks for the help guys.
