I've got 2 regular firefish. When I bought them they were a bit battered up. I've come to realize one is very aggressive and one is docile. Almost 25 years ago I had 2 that were perfectly docile and happy. Any suggestions on the best way to deal with this? Should I remove the aggressor or the docile and replace with another?

Remove one of them. I've had them swim across a 5' tank to beat on each other. You'll end up with one big fish and one skinny fish. The skinny fish eventually withers away.

You can try adding another with the intent that they'll pair. Tough part is they do not have any discernible sexual dimorphism, so it's a bit of a gambit.

Thanks. I've been feeding the docile one separately with the turkey baster when I feed the seahorses. It's not thin and I was monitoring that potential problem. My previous experience was completely opposite of what I'm dealing with now. Thanks for your thoughts and experience.
