So I'm guessing my new scallop decided to gow for a swim and knocked over my pristine birds next coral.

There were a bunch of tips damaged and some tissue die off...
I clipped the white ends (not too sure if I should have done that)...

Some tissue blew off in the current and when I used the pippete on it....

Is there anything I can do to help it along ???

I think I'm going to have scallop for dinner,,, just one... :)

You really need to mount SPS or something will eventually knock it over, causing exactly this. Put it back where it was, sacrifice something to the reef gods, see what happens.

I smashed all the tips mounting my new birdsnest frag and now a week latter all the tips have regrown and split into 2 to 3 new tips , there fast growers and very tough .

I've found that birdsnest are quite forgiving to this type of damage. They tend to be quite brittle so I expect in nature that they are constantly being broken. Certainly in my tank all my birdsnest get frequently fragged by my large tangs breezing by them (or crashing into them maybe, I dunno).
