Kien's back yard! I hear he's giving them away for free. Might be a night-op type deal though..

But yeah, pisces has lots last time I was there.

LOL nice. Seriously though, I give this stuff away in August lol.

But for now, Pisces is well stocked with pond plants ATM. Sunny side garden centre has a decent selection too.

Any old ditch or slough hole. That's where the majority of my plants came from. Cattails, reed grass, water plantain...alot cheaper this way too.

Greengate had all that a week or so ago..

I found that Blue Grass had a decent selection last year.

I haven't been there this year, but I imagine that they would still stock it well.

So the answer is: Pretty much every major garden centre in the city, Pisces, or a ditch.

Yeah I found some at Greengate but at 8.99 for one large water lettuce you can go broke fast.

Ya, I don't do Water Lettuce anymore. I find them much more fragile and not very suitable for our growing zone. if it's a nice hot summer then they may be fine, but when the temp drops below 10 degrees they start to get quite unhappy.

Plus the Hyacinth are cheaper. At least they were at the big P. 5 for like $20 or something like that.
