Hi everyone, I will be staying in Toronto at the Hilton (Financial District) in a few weeks, no car. I'm cool with using transit.

Any frag places you would recommend?

I'm from BC.

Thanks, Shawn.

Wow are you reefers out here in GTA ever spoiled, great stores with great people.

Taipan (thank you so much :)) brought me to Big Al's Aquarium Services - Mississauga, Aquatic Kingdom, Dragon Aquarium, R2O Aquariums, Canada Corals, FragCave (helped me repack lighter for the Flight, thank you so much Alex).

Always a pleasure to meet new people and help......spend other people's money. I live vicariously through others ;)

It's been asked so I 'll answer: "I get NO commissions, kickbacks, dates with their relatives from the LFS for these tours. Although......I probably wouldn't be opposed to it. D'oh!"

Roadtrip pictures of eyecandy coming up later......

Cheers.

P.S. - Special thanks to FragCave's Hospitality and taxi service and to Canada Coral's exceptional customer service.

Next time. Unfortunately for this trip; our time frame was 3pm-7pm from the downtown core. Prime rush hour window. Traffic was....."extra special" :twised:

I was in Toronto this weekend. Thought about grabbing some corals but the traffic made me believe that they might not survive the "tour" to the hotel!

I'm going to be going to Toronto later this week for the Honda Indy. I'm new to the saltwater hobby so I appreciate this thread. I'd like to check out some of these cool stores!

SWEET!

We got some all-access passes to the Honda Indy also. We have a friend that is racing so we get to spend time in the pits. Woot!

That's awesome! You're lucky to get all-access passes. Pit access would be an amazing experience. I hope you have a great time! It's so much fun I try and go every year!

It was very nice to meet fellow reefer and CanReef member: "hunggi74" this past week. It was a lot of fun watching his expressions as he viewed our GTA eye-candy. Special thanks to CanReef sponsors: Canada Corals and FragCave for being so hospitable as always. Until the next adventure - Good Hunting everyone.

P.S. - I expect pictures of recently acquired GTA eyecandy. Cheers.
