interesting read about non-native shrimps invading the UK lakes.... seems our okanagon lakes have a similar problem and that is why government of canada allows Piscine Energetic to troll for the mysis shrimp:

Hmm, next time I go paddling on Okanagan Lake, maybe I can flag down one of their boats & get some freebies, although paddling at night could be hazardous to my health!
