Consider yourself lucky :) I never understand why people think coralline is good.

What are your levels at, I wouldn't recommend just guessing what to supplement without knowing.

Coraline is good as nuisance microalgae can not grow over it. PITA on glass though.

what are your cal/alk levels at now?
also what is your NO3 and PO4 levels?

coralline algae can deplete your system of calcium and alk. Also it's better to have less coralline algae on your rocks b/c it can suffocate out beneficial bacteria.

i would highly suggest you test to see were your levels are at before dosing

I really like coraline, it's more attractive than just grey/brown rock IMO. Yes it eats your alk and cal but I keep an eye on those anyway.

You definitely want to check your calcium and alkalinity levels regularly if you plan to dose any supplements. Also high phosphate levels will inhibit coraline growth so check those #'s out too.
