View Full Version : A day of maintenance
I realized today how much I really still love this hobby. Did a 20% wc, pulled the skimmer and return pump, disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. Cleaned the sump ,mp40 wet side and moved around a few corals. Very satisfying morning. Too bad I can't grow @$#%& SPS.

I'm in the same boat. I'm notorious for leaving a fallen coral for much too long, or putting of a skimmer cleaning because I just don't have the time ... but the mornings on one of my days off where I have a cup of coffee and spend 2 or 3 hours working in the tank, its a reminder of how peaceful it can be.
Now if only I could be more diligent when it comes to aiptasia killing maybe I'd get the upper hand on these little bastards once and for all

I'm in the same boat. The weekly upkeep is sometimes annoying. But I like spending an afternoon doing the full sweep. These tanks are a true hobby.
