tank is too small for a regal tang, even the link you posted states 180g as minimum tank size.

Well I know alot of people that have them in that size.
But this is not debate if a tank is too small or not

I know many people that keep rotwilers and pitbulls in apartments/ condos as well, doeesnt make it less cruel. but i will end it there.

I'm chiming in here not to wag a finger or criticize anyone cuz lord knows I have my own little list of sins. I'm just a fellow reefer who has gawked and drooled over some beauty fish more times than I can count, but at the end of the day I sadly walk away because I'm not properly equipped or have the incompatible inhabitants in my tank and buying that fish....no matter HOW MUCH I want it....is not fair.
IMHO A 90 would suffice for short-term uses such as quarrantine, or acclimation. I think the other reefers are just trying to nicely say there is a HUGE difference between just "keeping fish" and properly maintaining and caring for fish. A smaller tank than is reccomended can do no good for your the fish. It will most-likely have a shortened lifespan, stunted growth, will most likely not produce full color grandure and spectrum of adult coloation and will become very aggressive. Neither of these symptoms are indicative of a healthy fish and is just plain and simple not fair to the fish......or its tank mates for that matter. A beauty fish for sure and on everyone's must-have list, but be fair to the fish too

If your talking about being fair to fish why do we even have a hobby that puts these fish into our tanks???
Let's be honest here without our greed to get stuff we want this hobby wouldn't exist.

But anyways I'm just going to wait for a LFS to get one in.
