What height do you recomend for a stand? Consider viewing and ease of cleaning. Tank height is 20"

I think both of mine are 30" - you should come see them.

I personaly like a little taller so I don't have to be on my knees to see the bottom, but there is a downside.. you will need a step stool anytime you want to work on the tank.

My stand is 31" high and the tank is 30.5.Going to be a effort to clean it,but it's at a nice viewing height.

Mine is 32" I wish i would have made it a little higher, for viewing and equipment under the tank. I'm fairly tall so I wouldn't need a stool or chair.

37.5". The higher the tank the more imposing and large it will seem. But there's no way I'm getting into my tank without a stool.

Mine is 36". Too tall IMO. 30"-32" would be about perfect

Right on, I was planning on 32", about 8" taller than the crappy stand I currently have. Glad to see I'm not the only one that likes it at a decent height. I keep seeing adds for large stands for sale that are 16 - 18" high!

If I was planning on laying on the floor while viewing the tank I would place it directly on the floor for ease of reaching inside. Otherwise Ditto Steve's note and take into consideration ceiling to top of tank dimension for being able to work on the tank in between the lights/ceiling/top of tank.

Personally I prefer not to bend over to view stuff near the surface while standing. Make it suit you and the furniture used in the room.
