EcoTech might know the answer. Failing that, the backup runs the pump using 12 volts as opposed to 24 volts on normal power. An MP40 supposedly uses 40 watts at maximum power with the 24 volt power supply. On backup it would probably use maximum 20 watts. Apply Ohm's law to those numbers & you should get a ballpark number for fuse amperage. Keep in mind that a 12 volt battery will be charged with a supply of up to 14.5 volts. So a fuse with slightly higher amperage than the charging current should do the trick. I'll let you look up Ohm's law & do the math. Or what the hey, here. P=EI, where P is power in watts, E is voltage & I is current/amps.

I wired my own up using a 3 amp fuse, I think hooked up a amp clamp and the draw for 2 was around 1 amp when running. Not hard to open these up and make your own with a new battery. Is the fuse in the power supply or internalize can't remember seing one on the one I cut apart. But mine is ran off 2 car batteries could run them for days.

Is your fuse in the cable ?

Yeah fuses are in the cable between the battery and the pumps. The fuses look like car fuses. 2 gold tips with glass in the middle.

But I'll just take the fuse out and go to part source and figure which one it is
