I am considering ordering online from either a sponsor, or other reputable vendor.

Sponsor or not, makes no difference to me. Its the over all experience.

PM me if its not a sponsor on here, as I know some people can get out of joint.

Soooo... who has the best prices and best shipping costs?

If I find one I like, Ill be looking for 2-3 others (max) to go group. Anymore is a hassle for me to arrange.

So Edmonton folks, also let me know if you wanna do a group order to the winning vendor.

I highly recommend Mad Jelly. Great guys to deal with. It's actually not fair to other businesses, I think Tony needs to dial down the customer service and give others a chance ;)

Anyone charges per polyp zoas must be crazy, I scored nice zoas locally here and they don't charge per polyp price. Just because they don't have fancy websites like those in Toronto doesn't mean they don't have rare stuffs.

I'm not going to order. To much hassle on delivery times.

Per polyp is very commonly practiced. Even in Edmonton.

Some people have money to burn and desire to have crazy zoas. It drives the demand up and therefore they break the colonies up. And as with anything supply + demand = cost. Usually higher.

That's the money. I don't even want to know the honest answer in the margin they bring. But I'm sure it's huge.

Back in the day when I used to live in Maui, I never have to buy zoas. I can just snorkel near the volcanic area south of Makena Beach and collect my own zoas. Just bring your chisel and hammer.

what's the problem?

My work hours vs delivery days used by the vendor. Should say its not a hassle, but just not possible for me.

For example...If the box comes at 9am.. I won't See them Til 6pm. Risky.
