Well, it looks like I'm going to throw in the towel. With the girls getting a bit older and more active, I find myself away from the tank too often. So by the time I do have time, well I'm three steps behind.
Summer is coming up and seeing as I can't get a handle on it now, it's going to get a lot worse as the summer gets closer.

I'll get some pictures and prices up tonight and this weekend. A lot of what I have is in my half finished build thread. I'd like to say thanks for the time I was here, got a lot of information from a lot of people, even managed to make a few friends.

If anyone is interested in a large tank, let me know. It will however have to be reassembled, as I have to cut it apart to get it out. It does however have a nice one piece euro.....

Sorry to hear man. Was nice to have met you a couple years ago. Best of luck with the girls (those are certainly more work lol).

Really crappy to see you go but kids sure are more important. This is a beautiful setup and great oportunity for anyone wanting a large tank.

sorry to see you go man ! I can totally appreciate your reasoning though. Sometimes I feel like I'm inching closer and closer to that tipping point as our kids get older and older. Best of luck with your future endevours !

Just go fowlt. ATO. Auto feeder.

Reduce the fish load(your big aaaaa tangs)

You put so much in to take it down.

Too bad. Lets smoke a cigar. I just got some freshies.

Stop saying that!!... I can only wish I had a peninsula tank like yours... And your kids may appreciate it more, too, as they get older...

Thanks guys, I may at some point be back. But let face it, I'm far from being in my prime, and now that the kids are 5 and 9 I find it harder to not be doing something with them. My wife works the long hours so my job aside from my slacker real job is the kids.
God I wish I had kids in my 20's instead of my 40's......

Do you plan to part out?

I'm sure there's many on Canreef who'd love to have a CodPiece.

Bob. Family is more important any than any hobby. Good choice. The 4 year break that I took from the hobby was needed due to family with 2 little children. Maybe one day you'll be back. One of my greatest memories in the hobby was the road trip that we took to go to Calgary just for frags. I still have the fish that I bought while we were down there. Thanks for these memories Bob and maybe there will be more. Also that sump that I run - it was you that was so kind to bring that's the dirty thing up for me from out of town. Thanks again. Hopefully one day when you're back you can get your tank to the point where you don't do anything to maintain it. God bless you and your family.
