Hi fellow reefers,

Going to Vegas in one month. Other than Mandalay bay shark reef is there any other aquariums or fish type hot spots?

Let me know.

The golden nugget, the mirage and I think Cesar's has a couple tanks around the slots and tables

The rainforest cafe has done nice ones. Most of the tanks I saw in Vegas were fish only. There was one hotel on the strip, the name of which I can't remember somewhere down the Caesars palace area I think that had a huge one behind the check in desk with some tangs so big it was mind boggling...
Yes, I went to Vegas and spent most of the time watching fish.. (apart from the entire afternoon I spent wandering around looking for the fish store that google maps lied about)

There is a huge tank with stingrays off the strip at the silverton. They send in a diver to feed the stingrays daily. It's right in front of the bass pro shop.

I haven't been in a couple of years, but they had a huge round one in the shops @ Caesars palace and I think it was Mirage that had a big one behind the check in desk

The Silverton hotel has a bass pro shop and a 115,000g saltwater aquarium. Really nice...make sure you see that one.

My son is trying to get in to see the company that films the TV show Tanked, based out of Vegas. It's his favourite show….I'll post if we are successful. We are there for his hockey tournament Feb 11-18.
