Good Day:
I have a Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse in my 8 Gallon Nuvo Marine tank. I have 2 types of macro algae in the display and wanted some advice of adding copepods to the display.
My goal of adding the copepods is to increase the numbers in the tank for a food source for the Tanaka wrasse.
The concerns I have are:
1. I didn't want to dose my tank with phytoplankton due to the tanks small size and without a skimmer I didn't want to cause any negative water conditions (algae bloom, green water or increased organic material).
2. How well will the copepods thrive without a dedicated food source?
3. Typically how clean is the water with copepods? Nitrate and phosphate levels?
If I decide it is worthwhile would anyone want to split the shipping to Victoria, BC?
