Purchased this from frag box 6 mths ago as a purple monster. It doesn't seemed to have any resemblance of such however within the last 3 weeks the color has changed from a dull purple-green to this and now becoming a keeper... Hope someone can id this...

That's gorgeous, I have the same piece from Fragbox, I neglected it and didn't give it enough light, its still a dull purple hopefully it will recover soon and look like that!

Thanks, I think there will be more color morphing to take place. I was getting quite discouraged and was thinking of turfing it a few months back. Glad I hung on to it. I have this piece about half way down the tank. It had only started to color up when I lowered my lights down another inch (now about 4-5 in above water).

Thank you proteus. I had sent an email to March yesterday but no reply. I have tried googling this and did not find any info or pic on a reef raft purple monster that resembled it. Do you know what is the actual species of acropora that we all have?

I bet March has been busy wíth the acro sale he posted the other day.
It's a fairly new piece, when you and I bought there were only a few piece out. I contacted jay (rr) to ask info on it but he seemed very agitated that there were frags out already haha.
I never got any answers from him on it
