Apparently he designed the whole system years ago and had it built so it can be viewed from several rooms in his home.
The tank holds 12,500 litres and his filtration system holds I think they said twice that amount,
wonder where he got the yellow tang with the black markings.
I saw this tank HGTV, incredible water homes so I Googled it and found this utube along with several others

Saxby's tank is very famous among the reefers in the world. I read somewhere about the tang before....hybrid yellow tang perhaps?

I read all about this tank a couple of days ago. My jaw has just been removed from the floor today.

Wife watching also on HGTV and called me over. Guess you can have a nice tank with LEDs (AI Sols though almost a solid mat of them)

Yeah exactly. Man it would be nice to be able to build a dream system without having to worry about money all the time!!

But Saxby is very well known in the reefing community. He has actually done a lot for the aquarium industry. Very smart man.
