Anyone know of any resorts in Mexico that do not charge single supplements?

Why a resort? We just came back from a 4 1/2 star all inclusive in the Mayan Riviera. The experience was a bit of a disappointment, we felt disconnected from the Mexico we went to see.

I just need a week of down time with someone bringing me booze. Not going to sight see or anything. Looking for cheap sun, food and beer within arms reach.

Signature Vacations used to list a variety among their choices. I can't seem to see it on the website now, but a call to them will get you a list quickly.

We went to Secrets Silversands in Peurto Morales in Sept. Was great food, drinks and resort. There just seemed to be couples there. But your going to drink so perfect. Talked to quite a few people in the airport and on the plane who said the resorts they were at sucked. Actually met one couple that we're going home 3 days early.

I stayed at Solaris in Cabo last year and it was mostly nice. Good food, cold beer and close to town. Gym down the street and a starbucks close enough for my americano fix. Problem is this year I'm going solo and the resorts charge an extra $400 for single travelers. I'll probably have to suck it up and pay, just thought I'd ask around. I went to places in Costa Rica and Cuba that didn't charge extra, but I don't want to travel that far, Cabo is 4 hours out of Victoria, so probably heading there.
