Emerald crabs worked well for me

Yeah bubble algae sucks! You can try removing by hand but be careful not to burst the bubbles. The spores released start new bubbles, so they say. A Mithrax crab is another option.

use a fork to remove them or pull em of by hand out of the water

if you find a solution let me know. I have ones the size of mandarin oranges in my system. I've got emerald crabs and a doliatus rabbitfish and they have yet to make any headway.

Get a flexible tube that's big enough to siphon the Valonia and use a knife/scalpel to loosen them up.make sure you turn the power heads and return pumps off,so you don't end up spreading the spores!

Remove as many as possible by hand. During a water change I would fill 2 - 5 gallon pails... pull the rock out, pull as many as possible off in to the garbage, then pop/etc the rest, and scrub as much residue as possible... Then rinse the rock in both buckets before going back to the tank.
Then get some (red elbow) Emerald Crabs :)

I use this

I made it from an old scraper handle, I cut it on an angle and sharpen it with a file, I turn off all flow and gouge and siphon the bubbles out, it is strong enough to gouge into the rock.

Slick! This is a definite winner too, I'm going to make one of these up!
