So after a long boring night at work decided to do some basic husbandry in the tank cause well I am wide awake and on days off and I figured it was a good time to play in the tank decided to move some rock around in the tank and got the friggen scare of my life damn near broke the glass in my tank almost fell off the ladder I was on and screamed like a lil school girl.

I lifted a flat rock and this big arsed dark blob raced up my arm jumped out of the tank and hit me square on the lips then landed on top of the tank and started to squirm around. As I was recomposing myself and checking my shorts I discovered the cause of my angst was my lawnmower Blennie which was still squirming around on top of the tank probably laughing its butt off at me. Finally grabbed the lil bugger threw him back into the tank and checked what damage I may of done by my impression of a child with a spider in their hair.

Tank is fine 1 coral flipped over 2 rocks out of place all fixed up now

End result is I am now truly wide awake heart still racing water water everywhere a Blennie that almost saw the light and a story to tell and 3 cats staring at the idiot screaming and shaking his fist at the tank

Fish, eh? My female clown once launched herself at me so hard she leaped straight out of the tank and ended up on the carpet. She had just spawned so was perhaps feeling a bit overprotective!

Lmao!! My cleaner shrimp used to crawl on my arms when I was in the tank and that always freaked me out. But not in the middle of the night, with lights out....yikes!

That's a funny story.....I have my cleaner shrimp pick at the hairs on my arm when I put my hand in the tank. Freaks me out every time and I end up ripping my arm out of the water in a dash...so water everywhere and anything Im holding drops.....usually on something it shouldn't. Thanks for the morning laugh!

That will learn me at 630 in the morning to go straight to bed and sleep instead of staying up and scaring the living crap out of myself

I had my little male clown chase my hand and as I pulled it out of the tank he followed. Jumped right out and landed on the eurobracing. I let the little bastard squirm there for aminute then flicked him back in. On another note, as I was moving some corals around, my lawnmower would not like what I was doing and kept knocking over the re-arranged corals. Well I had enough and went to chase him away with my finger. The fat guy just sat there and when I moved in closer, opened up his mouth and bit me.

I have a mated pair of clowns and no matter where i put my hand in the tank the female sneaks up and bites my hand and it scares me everytime. Last time i rearranged some corals she hit me 10 times then the male joined and hit me once.

I have the same issues with my clowns, they always rush in and peck at me with full force when ever my hands are in the tank, water would splash everywhere when I jerk my hand. I got so fed up one day from spilling more water on the ground than my water changed, I cornered them and flicked pretty hard and that taught them a lesson for the day... I never had that kind of aggression with other fish regardless being large angels, tangs and other larger fish.

My coral beauty will head butt me pretty much every time I put my hands in the tank. Scared the crap out of me the first time! When she isn't doing that, she's trying to bite my fingers as I feed them. Thank goodness she doesn't have teeth like some of the other fish out there!
