View Full Version : Coral flake food-Which do you prefer?

I was looking for the general consensus on the best coral flake food you have used. I want something that doesn't make your skimmer go crazy,doesn't cloud the water and that doesn't need to be spot fed. What do you recommend? What do you stay far far away from? All input is appreciated

You are probably looking for some coral food that is yet to be manufactured :razz:
In my experience, Amino acid doesn't cause any of those but I don't know whether its considered as "food" for coral. Alongside, aminos are not a good additive if the tank is not matured enough.

I've never fed my coral I leave that to the fish they do a better job than I can

I feed my corals salinity salt and calcium reactor effluent with a bit of leftover fish food mixed in, oh and magnesium chloride from time to time

I have never seen any coral food in a flake form - either liquid or powdered. What kind of corals are you trying to feed?
