Tank is 36x24x20 with external overflow, euro braced, polished edge
Built by concept (only place I get tanks from because I've always been impressed by their quality) and ordered through oceanic corals
Approx 75g

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/23/zube9y8a.jpg

Stand is built out of solid wood that I cut down from some old beams I had laying around (my tablesaw really didn't like it)
First coat on decided not to go white as all my stands are black

Sump is going to be 31x20x16 with a 20" tall back (splash guard) and will hopefully be done tonight

Glass is cut out of 10mm http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/23/u7upeme9.jpg

I have a sneaking feeling that the top photo, which you also posted in the 2013 FTS thread, will need to updated again soon. Looks like that tank won't be empty for long.

Love that idea!

Love that idea!

Tbh i was sitting there looking at the piece of glass and decided to make 1 cut instead of two due to laziness

Update on the sump: http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/24/adapybyt.jpg

I'm debating wether or not to add an r/o reservoir to the sump although I'll probably end up not using it as I'll eventually run an r/o line straight to the sump

I'm hoping to have everything transferred over before Boxing Day. All I have left to do is put a third coat of paint on the stand and plumb the tank.

There's too much stuff on the bottom of her tank (acro frags) and not enough room on the rocks to mount anything else

And the sump is packed to the point where I can't fit another mj in it

We decided to shut her tank down and transfer everything to mine because her tank is to small to add much more for fish and she doesn't really care about the corals

So she can pick fish and I'll play with my sticks

She really wants a chameleon tilefish after seeing one at the store

Wow, you just got the other tank not too long ago! You wife must be a happy camper, a new tank already. I know some guys that would be literally camping outside their house if they told their wife the excuse of no room and a dire need for a new tank.

SO MUCH ROOM IN THE SUMP, I'm running my calcium reactor in sump as it tends to leak on and off. I had it in a tray beside the old tank.

My wife told me that she likes the looks of it without doors because of how clean it looks

All I have left to do is build another rock structure on the right and tidy up some wires. With the external overflow I have enough room behind the tank that I was able to mount the apex system to the back of the stand as well as the ballasts. Ato is direct to the ro/di system so no more topping up an ro bucket

Eventually I might add gravel to the display as I'd like to add more wrasses to the tank

ATM I'm running a 250w hqi / 2x t5 fixture until I have a chance to grab a second maxspect razor

I plan on swapping the hk powerheads out for an mp40 or 2

Good looking setup, I was considering doing the same. Where do you keep your CO2 tank, on the side out of frame?

Water level with power off (or in this case feed mode on my apex), water leven in display drops 2.75" so I'll have to watch coral placement in the future

The chromis started hanging out with the new fish

5 cardinals, 3 species all with minor differences but they still stick together

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/28/u4e3uzeg.jpg
My sad looking star, my yellow coris that had an eye problem but healed up fine and my weird copper band that won't eat food out of the water column but will wait for it to land on the rocks to eat it

So my wife gave me a list of what she wants today....

Liniatus wrasse
Chameleon tilefish
solarensis wrasse
Long nose Hawk fish
Fire fish
Bangaii cardinal pair
Fan fin shrimp goby with shrimp
Tribal Benny
Mandarin dragonet
Pair of Ora naked clowns

She has expensive taste and I won't put that many fish in the tank

Who needs a frag tank when you have a ton of room in your sump

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/29/epu6a7ur.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/29/4unedymy.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/29/a7ymased.jpg

Now all I need is an intake strainer on my return and I'll be able to put a rabbit fish in my sump

I'm gonna also build a fancy acrylic frag rack for the sump

Tbh I'm having more fun with my sump than I am with my display
