Red Algae Help

Hi Everyone, first time poster, long time canreefer. I bought a clipping of this red algae off someone on Canreef awhile back. It flourished and grew out of control for the longest while constantly trimming it but lately it seems to be dying off and now i'm down to my last strand and i'm afraid i'm going to lose it. Anyone have this type of red algae and know how or what made it flourish? my tank has remained constant for the longest while and i really don't want to lose my red algae as crazy as it was i loved the way it grew. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
