Try JSTR, I know he used to have one. Think he just set it aside, had an ACLS with it as well. Dont know, maybe he still has it. Hasnt been on in a while though...

If I remember correctly, the 400w can be converted to 250.. Google it maybe for more info.. I "might" be able to convince hubbster to sell a 400w.

well i'm pretty happy. i just had my buddy bring over my old radium setup and hang it over the tank.

NO CONTEST!

The mitras looked SO much better doing a direct comparison that I'm going to stick with what I have. My goal now is to slowly ramp up from 80% overall intensity to 100% to at least make the tank brighter. In demoing the unit to my friend I turned it to 100% and was like... WOW. The 20% made a massive difference.

The funny thing is that to really closely mimic my radium we turned the cool white from it's current 30% to something much higher. So I have a ton of room to play with intensity yet at the cost of a little bit of the overall blue appearance of the tank.

The tank didn't even shimmer differently I was so surprised.

I will add this to my list of impulsive unnecessary threads.

In summary I need to be patient and wait for the SPS to come around. Everything else already loves this light.
