Well took every single frag out of my frag tank, packaged it all up and took to Greyhound last night at 15mins to closing time. I was told it would be at it's destination at noon today. Well it's now 20:00 and of course the idiots don't have a clue where the parcel is. I will never use them ever again as this is the third time i've had problems with the garbage service they provide. In saying that there is no reason at all now for me to frag anymore, to the garbage the trimmings go now. I did put 4 of the 5hr heat packs in with them. I hope they survive if they ever get there and i'm sorry to the receiver.

Man, that really bites

I hope the package makes it to it's destination even though they can't find it

BTW, every carrier has problems
I bought something for the wife for christmas a couple years ago
It came from Texas, went through the Richmond airport, then went to Paris before it came back to Richmond, then to me :surprise:
At least FedEx is fast or it would have been a limp christmas

Ouch.. sorry to year ! I haven't had great success with Greyhound in the past either.

Also, I recently ordered something from The States a few weeks ago and the package ended up detouring to Australia before coming back to North America. That was one lucky iPad case. I hope it enjoyed its time in Australia.

No wonder shipping from the US is so expensive, someone has to pay for packages going global.....

Hope they find your package and it gets where it's supposed to go!

Sorry to hear about your package. I wanted to make a tasteless joke about Greyhound losing customers things, but I think I will hold back. I hope it turns up soon!

We went through this when we traded awhile back and closed on weekends at the support center. They lost a echotec radion I ordered once too.

Greyhound will not get my business any more. Aquapin also sent me rocks through Greyhound in the summer time. They lost the package, tote was destroyed. They then denied having shipped it express, Try putting a claim in... It's like trying to get free health care in the states. I have tried calling all types of places to get to the bottom of my claim no one has heard or seen it. Unbelievable non-customer service. I would love to meet the SOB in charge of the courier division I would have some choice words and recommendations for that company.

OK, Now I feel better...lol

Haven't dealt with greyhound for yrs due to shipping issues sent a package to Red Deer and for some unknown reason it ended up in St Johns NFLD and took 3 weeks for the package to find its way from there back to Red Deer and yes zero help from Customer service online or in person.

I personally deal with Purolater never had an issue with them yet.

The last batch of frags Russell sent me in spring, it ended up being 3 days before I finally received it after a supposed 6 hour day trip. Fortunately, ever frag was fine even though some water surrounding the frags was cold. So, take some hope in that the frags may still be fine.

Well apparently they made it there finally. Cold water is all I know at this point. No more fragging and shipping for me anymore. Not worth the stress.

Yes its pretty stressful. I've generally done well with Greyhound and even most of the late packages have still arrived alive. I probably have about a 90% success rate. FYI at this time of the year you can buy 20 hour heat packs at Princess Auto.

yes Grey hound is a Pain in the Ass and very unprofessional.. However I have had some good sucess with Greyhound KNOC ON WOOD, one time here just about 12 month ago. I bought some corals from Coly from BAYSIDE. it was shipped Friday for 16:15pm s othat is 4:16 for you civie folk. its funny because Saskatoon is only 5.5 hrs away but it takes a 12 hrs for a parcel to get here LOL oh well. So i call the grey hound and they tell me that they are opened up on Saturdays at 10am. the parcel gets to the depot at 6 am so a extra 4 hours in a warm place that is ok with me. Colby ensures me that the Ric's and Zoas would be fine. so i go there for 11:30 because i was super busy and nothing there. the lady who was working tells me it wasnt scanned into the computer.:twised: So I explained to her what was in it. she tells me there is anotherbus that is coming at 1:30pm and 4:30pm and then the last one is at 7:30pm. she took my number and would let me know if these came in. well to cut to the long story they came in at 7:30 ofcourse im things 27 hours Friggin great.

However the best part was My phone was on silent and she called 2 times. so i called and she told me that they were there. I go to get them and she is there with her friend. I then was told by her friend that she was off 6:30 and she waited around for the package to get there. and then waited on her own time for me to get there to pick it up.. TALK about amazing lady.. I told her how excited I was and then she told me that. She remebered me before from talking to her about CIChilds and she used to own some before, but I gave her some advice on them in the past. So that is why she waited around. She knew that I had this passion for the Salt water fish.

happy ending

Well it's good to hear something nice I guess. I'm more burned that the reciever had to keep running back and forth to the depot for nothing and when he finally gets the package it's full of about $500 of dead corals. I'll be making some calls today to try and get his money back on the shipping.
