No kidding, it was like a lightswitch. First year ive installed dedicated snow tires on the truck as well, glad i did last weekend because it was slick on the roads this morning in some locations.

I'm tempted to pull out the sawzal and make my 4x4 tires fit on my suburban and throw plates on it lol

wow - 5 - how can you guys deal with such frigid temperature? lol
that is considered a warm day here.
BTW it is -18 here and that is the high for today.
not a whole lot of sympathy from this Albertan...lol

Typical albertan response
-18 there is nothing, I know, blah blah blah
-5 here is cold, has nothing to do with temperature on a thermometer, it's humidity combined with temperature that affects how cold it feels
Come to bc when it's -15, then tell be about it

It has nothing to do with humidity but rather exposure, iykwim?!? A chilly -33 C here this am.
What I wouldn't give for -5 and no snow, ha! I could still be ishing-fay (shhhh, don't let the inside water dwellers hear that) instead of hunting in a farking cold ground blind.
I'm in Toronto and someone told me to wear a jacket because it's cold! It's +3 degrees out. Even with the humidity it's still doesn't feel like the -20 that I left behind yesterday in Calgary

Lived in both places and the humidity does really suck , the -18 today was fine as long as you have mits on otherwise it bites at the hands pretty bad.
