Finally get around to ordering some Hydras and a Director ended having to pay $43 more compared to if I committed yesterday.

Let me chime in....

I know this seems harsh but AI was one of the only products sold in Canada with the same pricing as the USA. Hydra pricing was $399 and it is now $419. The small 5% hike is still waaaay cheaper than crossing the border since most retailers in Canada will ship for free.

regards,

Ray

Book in incognito mode ;) Tour sites store caches in the computer and every time you browse, those caches kicks in and the prices keeps on going up to tempt you to buy quickly.

wondering how things work.

Store buys stock for price $X, has sitting in warehouse waiting to go out the door. Manufacturer says MSRP gone up now to $Y. Store says thank you for the profit $Y-X? Surely the manufacturer isn't going to the store and says you own us more for stock already purchased?

Just like buying gas.

You should have bought the light the day before. When the price of gas goes up overnight do you go back to the gas station and say "hey I was here yesterday and the gas was .05 cheaper can I buy it for the old price?"

Modular LED is still selling them at $399 on their web site.

I have asked if they've had a delivery overnight of the higher price gas. Used to also bug me up north when the ferry went out grocery prices would jump up on old stock, bitched then too.
