I bought a cleaner wrasse and introduced it to the display tank, the 4 stripe damsel has been in then tank for 10 months and has been introduced to 5 other fish that she has never bothered.
5 hours later and the damsel is more active than i've ever seen and chasing the wrasse around, into corners, up to the surface etc...persistent!
The Wrasse is grazing around looking fairly calm and content between these outbursts

Liveaquaria says they're compatible.

Give it time or take it back? I only want what's best for the fish.

Ya I would give it some time too. You could also try taping a mirror to the side of your tank to distract the damsel while the wrasse settles in.

Even if your cleaner is stronger, it will probsy die in 6 months.

Most people cannot keep them alive due to lack of required food sources.
