Looking for clam (maxima) in Calgary. Would prefer not to order online. Anyone know who's carrying any?

Join a looooong list of people looking. They usually are only available like once a year from what I understand, and they go quick!

Iv never seen one available or I would snagged it up right away! Where do people get these things in the lower mainland??

They probably get them shipped if you can't find locally. We get them all the time in Ontario and quality just keeps getting better.

Sounds like you are correct because the last clams I got where shipped from the east I don't hit up the local store to often. From what I see on the online sites in the east our stores just don't compare.

Last time I got a clam in bc was from ocean aquatics. It has been closed for over a year now anyone ever see them at jl or king eds ?

I'm sure you could convince one of our sponsors or others to ship to you. Or perhaps convince your local LFS to make a few calls out East.

Well that was short. Ended up with two thanks to a fellow reefer here.
Got a maxima and a crocea! Spend the last few hours acclimating them to my tank.

I can see the bronze and gold along the tear drop maxima and the blue/purple along the crocea.....BOTH are going to colour up nicely. Great score.
