Tropic Marin Recipe

we got in our Tropic Marin shipment and immediately started testing it, our first dosings where with a mixtures of Tropic marin coral snow mixed with TM Pro coral phyton and TM Pro coral zooton, the results speak for themselves!!! Mix a spoon of reef snow in 100ml of RO water and leave for two hours stirring now and again this makes a gel, then add the two other products and stir, wait for 30 minutes and serve!

You can make up a batch of coral snow and leave at room temperature for a week, but do not add the other two products these must be added fresh

Aren't the corals going to get angry for having to wait for so long after placing the order? :lol:

Looks promising though :) One quick Q. Is it like the "coral snow" of zeo or "reef snow" from some other products. This snow thing is confusing and winter is coming!

A Natural Source of Nutrients for Corals and Other Filter Feeding Animals

Recently marine scientists have become increasingly aware of reef snow’s central function as a vital source of nutrients on natural coral reefs. Dissolving Tropic Marin® PRO-CORAL REEF SNOW in RO/DI water forms a thick solution that can be combined with nutrient supplements and foods such as Tropic Marin® LIPOVIT and PRO-CORAL ZOOTON and PHYTON to mimic this natural nutrient source.

When added to the reef aquarium, PRO-CORAL REEF SNOW together with the food and supplements form highly nutritious flakes similar to those of natural reef snow. By varying the concentration of the PRO-CORAL REEF SNOW solutions, the size of the flakes can be adjusted to the specific filter feeding animals maintained in the aquarium. Yah. Possibly that's their proprietary name of the common "reef snow" from many other brands. People sometimes get confused with coral snow (which is not a food) and reef snow (which is a food). :razz: Naming games :lol:

Probably best to look at the description of what it does rather than compare names to other products. :lol:

if you read the label it is both a food and a binder hence the dual name. A combo of two classics.

The detail is in the description, and clearly my corals love it instantly ;)

This is also one of their top selling products and we have sold over half of our current shipment to dealers, so I think we have got something for everyone to try and report back on.
