Ok, moving on now, I would like to add a strip of blue LED to my T5 that is controllable via my Apex. I have trouble operating electrical tape, so out of box solutions would be best.
Any ideas??

I have 4 Ecoexotic Panorama Pros that are not being used right now. I will part with 2 of them. They're the RGB.

How would they interface with the Apex?

I dunno. I'm not up on those controllers. I just used a timer to run mine before I got the Ecoexotic One-touch Controller piece of junk. I noticed Mike using the RGB Controller in a pic on your other thread. That'd go with it.

I think I need something 1-10v controllable, as I want to recreate my missing sunrise/sunset dimming. I don't think these would work..

I would try the ones from buildmyled.com I saw them at macna and were nice(a bit pricy) but you can customize color and they are 1-10v controllable straight out the box. The tiltable mount is a nice thing as well. Was planning on bringing them in but haven't gotten around to it, but very nice product.

Rapid led has retro kits. As long as you know how to use glue then your good to go. Get the soder less kit

Not sure I'm certified to use glue, when the glue is attaching anything to do with wires. :) I really hate wires. A lot.

Lol. The wires are plug and play just glue diodes to what you choose but yes I get it
I wonder if the stunner strips would work for you

I was going to suggest this too. Sleek....they can customize according to your need and awesome customer service (<- that's something I heard).

Anyway, subscribed :)

(Do I get a strike for this?)

Not bad, but this

Dimming and effects are only possible with a propriate controller (e.g. ProfiLux or ManuDimm).

I would be surprised if you couldn't work some magic with the apex to control it. Isn't it just 0-10v ?

Somebody good with wiring maybe. But me and wires generally end with fire. Hey, where's Bob. He would know!

A little bulky for what I need. Ideally a single narrow strip that I can mount to the T5 fixture is what I'm looking for.

Hi Brad.

Does this mean anything? I don't know anything about LEDS but am going to order a Panorama Marine to supplement my T5s. :)

Sam, that does help. Now I need to determine what lights can be driven this way. The stunner strips look like what I want, just not sure they work with the above setup.
