Does anybody know where I can get a new automatic shut off valve for my ro system? If possible id like to find one in the fraser valley. Also where can I get a good tds meter for a decent price? Thanks

Don't know about the shut off valve, but TDS meters are relatively easy to come by. I use this one as a backup checker to make sure the TDO meter that's built in to my RO/DI unit is giving me an accurate reading: http://www.reefsupplies.ca/online-store/Dual-probe-in-line-TDS-meter.html

I bought mine locally, I'm sure you could pick one up at one of the LFS in your area if you didn't want to have it shipped.

Should be able to find a handheld TDS meter at Canadian Tire, WalMart or some other big box reno type location. Look in the RV aisles, that's usually where they put them, for people to check the TDS when they're out camping & want to know a little bit about the water quality. Should be less than $20 & is a good start until you get an inline unit.

Buckeye Field Supply in the US now offer a triple probe inline meter! Not local for you in the Fraser Valley, but they stock pretty much anything & everything with regard to RO systems. Always on the money with their advice too, check out their FAQ page, a lot of good info there.

Kent makes an auto shut off device for your RO unit if your using some sort of reservoir. Really cheap when I picked one up several years ago from J&L. Hasn't let me down.
