Even though it's only a 29g, there's something to be said for being able to stick your face right against the glass for a good close look...

Tank is 11 months running as it is. Lit by 2x55W PC bulbs in Hellolights reflectors, 1 daylight and 1 actinic.

Some sandbed dwellers:

Top-down shot of a couple things:

And One Acro (should this thing be growing?)...

This little tank is slated to be absorbed into the 108 when ready. Still not a Big Tank, but hey...

No, I think that acro shouldn't be growing and it will stop real soon unless you put it in my tank
When is the big power switch being turned on for the new tank?

It looks great by the way

I agree with Kari in that at least some of that Acro should be in my tank where it would at least get more light (not that it seems to need it). Also do I have that blue zoanthid  , if not I have many traders

Eventually that acro is supposed to end up at Jon's, but if he doesn't want it, we'll go with the highest bidder.

Maybe we can arrange a transfer on whatever Saturday I go to Steve's to fish-watch.

Ahhh, it appears I misunderstood. I thought it belonged to Alan, and being that he is close to me, I thought it might be possible to get a small frag for my MH lit tank.

I'd like to see anyone prove otherwise... I've become quite fond of it.

Alan must have rubbed his lucky horseshoe the day I brought that coral by, he was supposed to just get a piece of rock but ended up with a cardinal as well, and now he's maneuvering for the coral!

Well If I need to take the cardinal to get the coral I suppose the ugly thing can live in my frag tank or fuge.

Twitchy little thing, too... I wouldn't make you take it, Jon.

I'm sure somebody will be in the market for one, as it is quite distinctive - as DooE has pointed out.
We'll let Quinn put a price on it.

Originally the cardinal was going to Tony so we'll see if he wants it. Otherwise I'll trade it for beer. Unlike the pump, I promise I won't decide I want money for it.

I just haven't been around lately to be able to come and collect... Actually if memory serves I thought I had a pending arrangement with Alan (pending my return to town that is) regarding a get-together so that the cardinal and the candycane could switch over to their next homes.

My poor little unwanted cardinal is going to think there is something wrong with him :frown: I could have had my wife stop and get him on the way back from Calgary lastnight......someone give a good home..

That's RIGHT!!! Thanks Tony, nearly forgot...

Gonna miss the little guy- it's actually quite a stunning fish, lots of personality, easy-going, full of icthy charm, etc...
