I have a tank that 150 gallons with a starphire front glass.
The bottom is made of two sheets of 3/8" laminated glass (I think).
Yesterday I noticed a weird line running across the bottom of the tank. It is about 1/2 the length of the tank,
It doesn't reach either end of the sheet it's just in the middle of the tank bottom.
The crack apears to be in the lower sheet of glass and not the upper one.

Is it worth the effort to try and replace it?
Is there a company in Vancouver that anyone could recommend?
Just trying to weigh out my options.

You'll have to replace both pieces, what are the dimensions of the tank? Price wise if you're getting someone to do it it would probably be better to get a new, custom tank built of a new store bought tank as far as cost goes

Tank is 5x2x2
I figured it would be cheaper to get new tank. Buy thought I'd throw it out there.

I can get you a replacement sheet of 15mm for approx 200$
As far as the work involved it depends on how the tank is built (sides on the bottom pane or sides surrounding the bottom pane)

Sides are on top of the bottom pane

Sides are on top of the bottom pane

Then it's relatively easy
