tank build journal FijiReefRock.com
Well the time has come and decision has been made for me to upgrade from an inwall 6 foot mix reef tank to a 10 foot by 32 by 31inches in-wall tank with a tear style sumps that will house 130glns skimmer,160glns Tons of rubble rocks and a 6 foot 120 glns frag system. .
Started some demolition and moved couple of the tanks around now my basement looks like a construction war zone with my wife hating every moment of it,..I will be posting some photos of what I had and destroyed so far,...
Already thinking ... What did I get myself into...

Still unsure about the design yet...have sometime to think it..
Real light ...hose are some crazy words for LIGHTING my system...
Thinking of using some wacko 100W LEDs similar to what I have been plying with in the past few years with some amazing coral growth and coloration in the deeeep blue spectrum

I knew you would be thinking of something WACKO like that, it works for you that is for damn sure.
P.S. what a mess on madness you have there, going to clean it up some with the new build

Why are you raising the new tank a few inches? Whats the height to the bottom of the new build?
Better viewing, more sump room?

I am doing a tear style between my main tank and the sumps in the back plus I like the higher style as I could look somewhat up into the tank,Even when at the tank I don't have to look down or bend for viewing...only straight
