Default Evergrows ???

I'm in the process of ordering a tank from Concept. Thinking to get some evergrow leds . I'm already over budget on tank so that's why I'm think'in evergrows.
Have Chinese leds now but they're very bright & can't control light %. They do ramp up & down but everything is preset & not quite happy with them .
My tank being built is 72"x30" , think'in to get 2 it2060 & supliment with t5.

Please give me some input . Remember budget minded !

Thanks Mark

I haven't tried the Evergrows, but if you're on a limited budget, why don't you look for a used T5 fixture? My new tank build is T5s, and it's not because of budget.

I run a pair of 2060,s and they are excellent lights. My sps grow well and have good colour. On my 90 they will be supplemented with a pair of t-5s just because I wanted to run some ATI super blue. I once had the 2080, then switched to all t-5 but went back to my present lights.
And they all came from Ray.

On a 3ft 50g, will be on my 4ft. 90g soon. When I switched back to them, started at 40% white/ 60% blue. Ramped both up app. 5% a week roughly, sometime blue more.
I have not programmed yet but use sunny.....cloudy and night. Currently my sunny is 65% white/ 100% blue. My cloudy is 80% blue, which is my morning & evening. One day, I will program them to do it all auto daily. I absolutely love the remote controls for their units.

If you buy some we can pm back & forth if you need suggestions when your tank is up & running.

Hi,

The only EG's that are not programmable are the 2120. You have to manually set them with adjustment knobs and set them with a timer.

All the other models we sell have built in controllers and are indeed fully controllable.

Each 24" 2060 will easily cover 36" mixed reef. Supplementing with T5 will allow you to grow anything you want and will eliminate any shaded areas.

Here are some pics of a client using 3 x 2120 over a 60x18x18
